The development team at EA Sports is delivering the first official gameplay video taken from the upcoming NBA Live 15, which is designed to show off the graphics quality of the basketball sim and the way players are simulated using the new engine.

Damian Lillard, the cover athlete for the game, is at the forefront of the action, but gamers can watch a number of other stars dribble, shoot, dunk and defend all across the court.

EA Sports claims that its new basketball title will include “the most photo-realistic visuals in franchise history and 500+ core gameplay improvements delivering a truly fluid, fun and authentic basketball gaming experience.”

The development team says that the emotion of the player will be at the center of the game and it will influence the way they perform and how the crowds react to their performance.

EA Sports will also introduce the classic connected franchise mode and daily updates which will upgrade player ratings and track team results.

NBA Live 15 will be launched on October 7 on the Xbox One home console from Microsoft and the PlayStation 4 from Sony.

It will have to deal with tough competition from NBA 2K15, which has dominated the market for the past few years and is set to include a new level of realism in its new edition.
