Learn hidden moves

Taking a page out of NBA STREET Homecourt's book, NBA LIVE 08 introduces

Quickstrike Ballhandling. This intuitive gameplay mechanic is mapped to the right analog stick and gives you the direct responsiveness you need to perform a full repertoire of ankle-breaking ball-handling moves that let you dominate on the perimeter.

Adidas Duncan Stealth (All-Star edition) shoes

Enter FE454DFJCC as a code at the "NBA Codes" screen.

Adidas Gil-Zero (All-Star edition) shoes

Enter 23DN1PPOG4 as a code at the "NBA Codes" screen.

GAMEPLAY HINTS

Hidden go-to-move

The superstars of the game have go-to moves, but not all have videos. Kevin Durant has a go-to-move. He has no video with it. Press Left Analog-stick Left or Right Circle (Shoot) to do his dribble juke step go-to-move.

Richard Jefferson also does not have a video with his go-to-move. Post up from close to mid-range and do fade away. Hold R2 and press the Analog-stick Back Circle (Shoot). Instead of just turning and shooting, Jefferson will push off and fade away with his legs bent back in an athletic type of fade away.

GLITCHES

Chris Paul's second go-to-move

Chris Paul has a second go-to-move other than his run and throw up shot. He has almost the same go-to-move as Derron Williams. Do the same as you would with Derron's go-to-move. Press the Analog-stick Left or Right Circle (Shoot).
