The development team at Visual Concepts and publisher 2K Games are one week away from launching NBA 2K15, and the companies are ready to finally allow fans of the title to take a look at more gameplay taken form the basketball sim and get a first look at the 5 versus 5 mode.

The Twitch stream is pretty long, but those who love the sport and its virtual representation will find plenty of new information in it and can see exactly how the experience will run when it is finally out.

NBA 2K15 is now gold, which means that no more changes are being made to the core features and that disks are at the moment being manufactured.

5 versus 5 is a very popular mode among the player base, and the reveal shows how the development team has aimed to introduce a little more variety and more focus on teamwork.

The new basketball sim has improved visuals, more realism options and players that aim to execute the same moves as their real world counterparts.

NBA 2K15 will be launched on October 7 on the PC, the PlayStation 4 from Sony, the Xbox One from Microsoft and last-gen consoles, and it will have to face some competition from the EA Sports-made NBA Live 15.
