NBA 2K15 for PC is now available for pre-order on Steam, and together with the game's listing we also get to see what the upcoming basketball game's system requirements are.

2K has announced that the series' collaboration with the NBA's best players continues, and the franchise is moving to the next iteration of the legendary experience on October 7 in North America, and October 10 in the rest of the world, now including PC.

Gamers will be able to experience the full-featured next-gen experience on the PC for the first time this year, according to developer Visual Concepts.

"The complete NBA 2K15 experience found on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles will also appear on the PC platform. Gamers will be able to experience the full breadth of new modes and features found on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with even more graphical fidelity," the official statement informs.

Last year's NBA 2K14 came out for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 in October, followed by the next-gen versions in November, with greatly improved graphics and a bunch of new modes and features that were missing in the PC and last-gen consoles releases.

The game is currently available for pre-purchase on Steam, going for $60 / €50, with the pre-order bonus being the KD MVP Bonus Pack, consisting of 5k Virtual Currency, the Kevin Durant Thworback MyTEAM Card, 2 MyTEAM Card Packs, and Kevin Durant-inspired MyPLAYER leg sleeves.

In case you're curious how well you'll be able to run it on PC, the minimum system requirements list an Intel Core2 Duo or better, with 2 GB RAM and a 512 MB DirectX 10.1 compatible graphics card.

The recommended specs are a bit beefier, and will most likely be required to mirror the game's performance and visuals on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Publisher 2K recommends to play NBA 2K15 on an Intel Core i7 with more than 4GB of RAM, and a DirectX 11.0 compatible graphics card with at least 2GB VRAM in order to enjoy the best experience.

"For the first time in franchise history, the PC version of NBA 2K15 will be a fully featured Next-Gen experience! Featuring NBA MVP Kevin Durant on the cover, NBA 2K15 hits the court with unprecedented life-like graphics, ultra-realistic NBA game play, and over 5,000 new animations that make NBA 2K15 the ultimate PC basketball simulation experience," the description on Steam reads.

NBA 2K15 is currently set for release on October 7/10, coming to the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One platforms.
