The development team at Visual Concepts and publisher 2K Sports are ready to deliver the first actual gameplay footage from NBA 2K15, showing gamers how cover star Kevin Durant performs in the upgraded game engine.

The Oklahoma City Thunder star is the only player on which the footage focuses, and the two companies are saying that the game from which the video was recorded is the PlayStation 4 version of the basketball simulation.

At the moment, the company has not offered too many details about the changes that will be implemented in NBA 2K15 when it comes to core gameplay, but it has explained that it will improve the player experience and the core modes.

The soundtrack of the new title is being handled by Pharrell Williams, who has said that he will include songs designed to emphasize the action on the court.

NBA 2K15 is set to arrive on the PC, the PlayStation 4, the PS3, the Xbox One and the 360 on October 7 in North America and on October 10 in Europe.

The game will once again be the only sim of the sport available, as EA Sports seems to have dropped plans to launch a new installment in its own NBA series.
