2K Games has released the official box cover for the upcoming NBA 2K15, revealing that Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant is the athlete that will be representing virtual basketball this year.

The cover shows 2013-2014 season MVP Kevin Durant wearing his OKC Thunder #35 jersey, in honor of his AAU coach Charles Craig, who was murdered at age 35.

In addition to revealing the face of NBA 2K15, 2K Games has also announced that players who opt to pre-order the game can get their hands on the KD MVP Bonus Pack, which includes 5k Virtual Currency, the Kevin Durant Throwback MyTEAM Card, two MyTEAM Card Packs, and the MyPLAYER Leg Sleeves, inspired by Kevin Durant.

The game's soundtrack is put together by Pharrell Williams, in an effort to guarantee that basketball fans worldwide will be pleased by the diverse and motivational playlist, which Pharrell promised will "complement the on-court action of NBA basketball in NBA 2K15."

The full soundtrack is set to be revealed later this summer and is said to include tracks from System of a Down and Strife.

NBA 2K15 is slated for an October 7 release, coming to the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One platforms.
