Android enthusiasts rejoice, as 2K Games has final brought NBA 2K14 on Google Play Store after several months of Kindle Fire exclusivity.

NBA 2K14 is a considerable improvement over the previous title in the series. It comes with full 2K Beats soundtrack, and Multiseason Mode, which allows you to play through multiple NBA seasons.

According to the developers, the controls are intuitive enough, as players will be offered the option to choose between classic control and One-Finger control, which was specially tailored for mobile devices.

It is also worth mentioning that the latest installment in the NBA franchise features some in-app purchases, so even if you pay for the game, some items/boosts will cost real money.

You can now download NBA 2K14 for Android for $7.99 (€5.99) via Google Play Store. Keep in mind that the game should be fully compatible with most devices powered by Android 4.0 and up. Also, make sure you have enough storage, as the game requires an initial 1.1GB download and an additional 1GB of “resources.”

On a side note, AndroidPolice reports that the iOS version of the game has recently received an update which adds support for various controllers, but the Android iteration has yet to get it. Hopefully, that will come sooner rather than later.
