14 DAY TRIAL // 2K Sports has released NBA 2K14, the latest installment in the popular basketball video game franchise with a $7.99/€6.99 price tag and support for multiple iDevice models.
Having received more than 38 Sports Game of the Year and “Best Of” mentions last year on consoles, NBA 2K14 doesn’t need to prove itself on iOS, but let’s hope the controls don’t suck. After all, it’s one thing to play with buttons, and a totally different thing to cover the action on your screen with greasy fingers.
Anyway, 2K Games says, “This year, we've joined forces with the league's most dominant force: LeBron James. NBA 2K14 will raise the bar, yet again.”
The publisher cautions that NBA fans shouldn’t rush for the download unless they are completely sure they’re using a supported device.
An important note in the game’s iTunes description states, “Compatible with iPad 2 and up, iPad mini, iPod touch 5 and up and iPhone 4 and up – WILL NOT RUN ON EARLIER DEVICES.”
