Publisher Take Two has launched a new campaign for the upcoming NBA 2K13 basketball simulation, called Under the Cover and based around Facebook, which will allow fans of the franchise to find a number of clues linked to the cover image of the next installment.
The clues will initially be hidden behind puzzle pieces and in order to reveal them fans need to post to Twitter about the game using the hashtag #UncoverNBA2K.
As the number of messages piles up, more pieces of the puzzle will be removed.
Once the final image is revealed, gamers will be able to download the final poster as a wallpaper.
NBA 2K13 is being developed by Visual Concepts and will be launched on October 2 in North America and three days later in Europe on the PlayStation 3, the Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Wii.
Take Two also plans to deliver a version for the Wii U once the new hardware is launched.
