The development team at Visual Concepts has released a new video linked to their upcoming basketball simulation NBA 2K13, designed to show gamers the new setup for the controller and how it can be used to enhance the game experience.

The team is urging gamers to try out the new setup before switching back to the classic control scheme.

NBA 2K123 introduces a new physics engine and streamlined gameplay and publisher 2K Games has brought in Jay-Z to serve as a producer on the game.

NBA Live from EA Sports might offer some competition this year for NBA 2K13, although EA Sports has not yet stated exactly when the game should be launched.

NBA 2K13 will be launched on the PC, the PlayStation 3, the PlayStation Portable, the Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360 during early October.

A Wii U version is also set to appear once Nintendo actually launches the new console.
