Eutechnyx, the development team that is working on the NASCAR: The Game 2011 video game, has announced that it has managed to secure the game development services of Richard Towler, who is the 2010 NASCAR iRacing.com Series World Champion.

The company says that he will be working directly on determining the way cars are set up and the handling model in NASCAR The Game 2011.

The iRacing.com Series World Championship is a hardcore racing simulator and the developers at Eutechnyx are hoping that Towler's experience will allow them to deliver a racing game that it as close as possible to real NASCAR races.

The new NASCAR game will include a championship mode that will allow players to get through all the races that were on the calendar in 2010, aiming for the ultimate prize, and gamers will experience a game engine that models full damage for cars and an Artificial Intelligence that simulates the habits of real world drivers.

Brian Jobling, who serves as the chief executive officer of Eutechnyx, has said that, “We've often taken consulting guidance from racing experts such as Bruno Senna to balance and optimize our racing game engines. But now, having Richard Towler on the team full-time allows us to guarantee a realistic racing game architecture and use his vast experience of racing games to ensure appeal for the casual player too.”

Towler himself added, “I'm delighted to join a development team with such a strong pedigree in the racing genre. As a gamer myself, it feels great to be able influence the final polish and to help tune this game to make sure it is the best and most fun NASCAR ever created. Plus, I'm now a key part of the design team for all Eutechnyx games moving forward.”

NASCAR: The Game 2011 is prepared for launch on the PlayStation 3, XBox 360 and the Nintendo Wii and will be out in North America on March 29.
