N93's younger brother is on the release queue.

Yes, the phone every N93 lover out there has been waiting for has been exposed by the FCC, the same guys that once in a while offer us the info and the pictures every phone manufacturer tries to keep secret for as long as it is possible until the official launch.

Pretty good job this time, by the way, because the photos published on the official FCC website are quite nice and one's task of finding new pieces of info on the secretive brother of the N93 is made a lot more easier.

The first thing you will notice if you take a look at the first picture you can find here is the small LCD placed on the front mirror-like side of the clamshell. This is probably the way basic info about the phone's status (battery, caller id, time and, hopefully, info about the playing song) will be displayed so, for example, you won't go around not knowing your phone's battery is nearly dead.

Another nice change made by the Finnish phone manufacturer in this reedited edition of the N93 is the miniUSB connector that will replace the traditionally annoying pop-port connector.

The rest of the phone's features have remained the same as in the other rumors we had about this handset, the N93i still being a 3G WCDMA/EDGE/GSM cellphone working on 900, 1800, 1900 and 2100 MHz networks and having WLAN connectivity capabilities.

The device will also be smaller than its older brother, will feature the same Carl Zeiss lenses that will equip the 3.2 megapixel digital camera we all know and that will offer the phone's users the 3x optical zoom every N93 is proud about.

Unfortunately, there is no trace of an 850 MHz network in the info gathered about the N93i until now, so, despite it being already approved by the FCC, it seems the guys living stateside will have to wait a little longer until they will be able to take it home.

Not a very big surprise, is it?
