As always, Micro-Star International is not letting any opportunity slip through its fingers, especially when said chance involves a graphics card for the higher level of the mainstream consumer market.

The GeForce GTX 560 Ti graphics adapter was the first 500 series board that NVIDIA provided for the bulk of the mainstream market.

Needless to say, its many OEMs were quite quick in adding their own models, even some with serious factory overclocking and cooling, even of the liquid variety.

Micro-Star International, of course, was among the first to act in this fashion, but it looks like it is not done with the card yet.

In fact, it just issued a press release in which it details the N560GTX-Ti Hawk, which has a specially-built PCB and utilizes the Twin Frozr III cooler.

The massive factory overclocking will likely be the first thing that pops into view, since the clocks are just so far above the stock ones.

Specifically, instead of 822 MHz, the GPU runs at a full 950 MHz, while the shaders and 1 GB of GDDR5 VRAM work at 1,900 MHz and 4,200 MHz, respectively, instead of 1,645 MHz and 4,008 MHz.

This performance was made possible by the PCB with 8+1 phase power, Military Class II components and active phase switching, not to mention the aforementioned cooler itself.

Speaking of coolers, the Twin Frozr III has a nickel-plated copper base, four copper heatpipes (two of which are 8mm SuperPipes), a heatsink and a pair of 80mm PWM fans (they have Propeller Blades).

All in all, since the cooling mechanism can supposedly drive temperatures about 17 degrees lower than on the reference board, MSI let loose with the overclocking, enabling the beast's prowess.

Other specifications include the unchanged 256-bit memory interface, support for multi-GPU setups via SLI, a TDP of 180 W and multiple display connectors (dual-DVI and mini HDMI).

All available information can be found on the official product page, though sales have not actually started yet. Only pre-orders can be made, for the price of 234.48 Euro.
