After the heavy hitters from Canonical, it's time for Mythbuntu 12.04 LTS to be officially released.

Mythbuntu is a community supported add-on for Ubuntu focused upon setting up a standalone MythTV-based PVR system, which can be used to prepare a standalone system or to integrate it with an existing MythTV network.

There are not too many changes compared to Mythbuntu 11.10, but the most significant one is of course the new MythTV which is now at version 0.25.

Is now possible to enable MythTV and Mythbuntu Updates repositories directly from the Mythbuntu Control Centre without needing to install the mythbuntu-repos package.

The distribution also has some notably theme fixes, and of course, being based on Ubuntu 12.04, it features all the underlying changes from the main distro.
