Mythbuntu is a community supported add-on for Ubuntu focused upon setting up a standalone MythTV-based PVR system, which can be used to prepare a standalone system or to integrate it with an existing MythTV network.
Highlights of Mythbuntu 12.04.2:
• All the standard Ubuntu updates have been implemented; • The distribution has updated to MythTV 0.25.2, which fixes a bunch of bugs that were found after our initial release; • The installer will no longer wipe databases for MySQL and MythTV during installation if you do an "in place" upgrade; • Mythbuntu repositories is integrated directly into MCC and no longer an external plugin.
