The video posted above shows a glimpse of an unexplained phenomenon which took place in Italy. A fire ball appears on the skyline and it seems to be quite large.

This clip only lasts for a few seconds but the object was visible for about a quarter of an hour. Sightings were registered between 2.30 a.m. and 2.45 a.m. on September 3 in the northeastern part of the country.

Reports of the large flying objects came in from residents of Venice and Padua, among others.

One resident described that the phenomenon "unsettled his pets," The Local informed. It was accompanied by thunder sounds and a noise reminiscent of an explosion.

The fire department was called in but could not find any meteorite fragments in the area.
