Brainy idea from Samsung

What is Samsung up to? A smartphone that also includes a pointer sounds like the ultimate revolution in terms of handling handsets. Some leaked images and even a video have sprung over the internet showing an impressive, but never seen before device coming from this producer and which also comes equipped with this capability.

The Samsung smartphone runs on Windows Mobile 6, which clearly shows it as a powerful device. It is actually more evolved than it would first appear. The device uses a tiny touch sensitive pad similar to that seen on laptops for making commands. Now that handsets are continuously coming closer to the way PCs interact with their users and to the performances that they manage to pack, a mouse pointer sounds like a natural step in the mobile evolution.

Still, the tiny pad should make it difficult to use for most people until they properly get used to it. There is also a touchscreen, which seems like an old fashioned solution, when placed next to the mouse pointer one. The number of people that use touch for browsing through the phone's functions is larger and could help the new mouse pointer one enter the market easier. Without this, many people might just get annoyed from their first attempts of handling the device and give up on the idea.

Samsung brings an incredibly daring solution, one that might cover them in success or wash away with no pleasant impact on anyone's life. The device also has a secondary front camera, which shows that it is 3G enabled and capable of placing video calls.

Other specifications for this mysterious Samsung smartphone have not been revealed. In fact, the only proof of this device actually existing and working properly is that brought by the video that you can see below.
