Fujifilm is about to announce its first weather-sealed camera and this might be it

Back in November, a rumor emerged that Fujifilm would be announcing its first weather sealed digital camera as part of the company's X-series at the beginning of 2014.

The camera will feature a powerful APS-C X-Trans II image sensor and comes with high-performance centered EVF (electronic viewfinder).

In addition to that, the new Fujifilm weather-sealed X-series camera is rumored to have a body similar to the Olympus OM-D (E-M1 or E-M5) models and also features a double SD card slot.

As we all get anxious to see what Fujifilm has prepared for us this year, art photographer Dominik Fusina has posted on his Facebook page and website a few pictures that show a new Fujifilm camera called X-W1.

At first look, the photo on Facebook looks more fake than real due to its odd perspective as well as the reflection that can be seen in the front element of the lens.

Furthermore, Dominik has posted on his website four more pictures with the same camera that he received via email. This time the photos are clearer and make us wonder whether this is the upcoming Fujifilm weather sealed X-series camera or not.

Check out the pictures bellow and judge for yourselves. Could X-W1 be the rumored Fujifilm weather-sealed X-series camera?
