Asus seems to be getting ready to unveil a brand new tablet. Just last week a purported Nexus 10 with the Asus name attached to it showed in the internal inventory system of UK retailer PCWorld.

Now a new Asus slate code-named TF502T has shown up at FCC waiting for approval. At this point, we can’t say whether this is the rumored Nexus 10 spotted last week or just another tablet altogether.

Another theory, however, might be that the model number is similar to other Transformer slates, so what we’re talking about here might be actually a brand new Transformer Pad.

Other information about the mysterious slate is not available, apart from the fact that the TF502T will seemingly have 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC. The device will also pack a powerful 6760mAH battery.

Spotting the new Asus baby at the FCC is a good indicator that it will soon arrive on the market, no matter what model it turns out to be.
