Mysterious 300 Pound (136 Kg) Fish Caught in Cabo, Then Stolen

A fishing expedition goes tremendously well, then just plain awful as a fisherman catches a 300 pound (136 kg) tuna-type fish in the waters of Cabo San Lucas, in Mexico.

You can watch as the staff of the fishing boat rejoices at the sight of the mystery fish – which to them looked like a dorado, a tuna and a wahoo, but to me it looks like just a giant goldfish.

The funniest thing about this video is the fact that, once having stumbled upon a record-breaking catch, they enlist the help of another crew to carry it to shore. Sport Fishing Mag reveals that the “beast” got stolen from right in front of them.

The fish was later identified as a Louvar or Luvaras Imperialis, a species that hasn't been spotted in the area for 22 years.
