MySQL, one of the most popular open source databases in the world, has just reached version 5.6.15.

As usual, any new version of MySQL brings lots of improvements, and the current build is one of the biggest in the past few months.

Highlights of MySQL 5.6.15:

• The MySQL Reference Manual is no longer provided in Info format; • Several statement instruments in the setup_instruments table have been renamed; • Statistics for abstract instruments are no longer collected in the following table; • A new CMake option, WITH_ASAN, which permits enabling address sanitization for compilers that support it, has been added; • Databases names beginning with a digit will no longer cause a full-text search (FTS) parser error.

A complete list of fixed bugs, updates, and new features can be found inside in the archive or on the official website. Download MySQL 5.6.15 right now from Softpedia.
