Next best thing until the iPhone's release

Ever since the iPhone was announced, many people have suddenly found it extremely hard to carry both a phone and an iPod with them, and another music phone just doesn't seem to be the same as an iPod.

While this didn't seem to be a problem before, Apple's phone has definitely changed some people's minds about carrying two different devices when you can have one to do both, even though the iPhone won't be released for quite some time.

Keeping in mind that the iPhone won't be launched until June, Mavizen has come up with a way to provide the next best thing. myBlu is a Bluetooth gadget that connects to your iPod and your phone, providing a wired set of headphones and a microphone with music player buttons.

The integrated Bluetooth module syncs with your mobile phone and when receiving an incoming call, the music you're listening to on your iPod will pause and the caller ID will even show up on your iPod screen, therefore you will not have to take the phone out of your pocket to check who's calling you. Also, you can answer or reject the call directly through the controller. When the call ends the music will be resumed.

Aside from caller ID, the myBlu also supports voice dialing, redial, recent call list (last nine numbers) and comes with an FM tuner, that can store up to 15 station. It is powered directly from the docking port, using the iPod itself as a power source, therefore not needing anything extra to work.

The myBlue weighs 9 grams, works with the iPod mini, the first and second generations of iPod Nano as well as the 4th and 5th generation Ipod. If you believe this to be the perfect solution until the iPhone arrives, you can find a myBlu in Hong Kong for $76.
