If you didn't read my article published yesterday, you should really click on this link and read my adventures on the Gmail land. Yesterday, I was really shocked when the first spam message managed to bypass the filters and invade by inbox. A user sent me a comment sustaining the spam arrived in my inbox because I published by email address on numerous websites that were used for sending unwanted messages. I must say that I'm always avoiding to publish my address on malicious pages and I'm currently using the account to register for some services on the Internet. However, the mail was sent from a Gmail account so it's probably a fake address. Today, I'll present you some hot information concerning the spam messages that arrived in my inbox. This time, it's something new because it was sent with another address and it even contained an attachment!

As I said, it seems like this is really a powerful spam campaign started against numerous Gmail accounts because one of my mates received a similar spam message sent with a different address but with the same content. Although Gmail was regarded as the most efficient mail solution against the spam messages, it seems like the Google product is also vulnerable and can be invaded by unwanted emails.

However, the competition between Yahoo Mail and Gmail is somehow more equal because, until now, Yahoo's product was described as a vulnerable solution with weak filters. It seems like the two services are a little bit similar and have the same weaknesses, being attacked by spam messages. The search giant didn't make any official statement concerning the recently received spam mails but it seems like it is really a huge campaign because most of the Gmail accounts are assaulted with this unwanted content.
