Musiwave, an Openwave company and a provider of mobile music entertainment services to operators and media companies, announced at MIDEM 2007 an exclusive arrangement with SonyBMG for the new ringtone of Shakira's unreleased, "Pure Intuition." Exclusive distribution coincides with the launch of the Shakira "Oral Fixation" European tour on January 25.

The ringtone,
ringback tone and full track will be sold through Musiwave operator partners worldwide and through Musiwave-branded online portals. An end-to-end service provider, Musiwave offers mobile operators hosted content, programming, and exclusive content.

"We are delighted to be again working with SONY BMG to bring the hottest exclusive offers to our customers," said Albin Serviant, senior director of marketing for Musiwave. "Our ability to provide our customers with exclusive access to exciting new content like the "Pure Intuition" ringtone speaks to the strength of our relationships with labels like SonyBMG and bring value not only to the label but the artist and our operator partners as well."

Musiwave provides mobile music entertainment services to over 35 mobile operators in 25 countries including Vodafone, T-Mobile, Telefonica, Orange, SFR, TELUS and Amena.
