One musician has outdone himself on the drums, and I'm not talking about the quality of his beats. Andrew W.K. Has broken the record for longest drums session, keeping a beat for 24 hours straight.

According to Mashable, he achieved getting the world record title in Oakley's Times Square flagship shop in New York.

He started the drumming session on Wednesday, June 19 at 7 p.m. and ended it the next day, at the same time.

The record was set during the O Music Awards, and Andrew confessed that it was much harder than it appeared. He wore ear buds and gloves to get through this session.

"It was way harder than I thought it was going to be," he said afterward. "I maybe could've practiced drumming more."
