Size matters when it comes to your music, and big fish in the industry know that best. Creative keeps up the good work by popping out in the wild the first 32 GB flash jukebox. The news became official after somebody spotted an unintentional slip-up on the company's website for its home country of Singapore.

On the same web site, there is also an entry for the Creative ZEN, which proudly shows a 32GB version of the handheld alongside
the usual 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB versions, which already seem light as a feature for heavy music addicts.

Regarding the player's design details, there seems to be no major changes in the line of the already famous ZEN. However, the media player features a thinner shape form compared to the traditional hard disk players. Music addicts were more than happy to find out that the internal storage capacity can be boosted up via an integrated SD card slot to add as much as 2GB more to the total storage capacity.

What should really be taken into account is the fact that the latest 32GB version will represent a technical achievement. Why? First of all, most of the current devices with 16GB or more of flash memory are just as electronista says: "often heavily constrained by size, as the memory chips must often consume valuable space and frequently command a price premium over devices with similarly sized hard disks".

Regarding the pricing and availability details of the device, Creative is known for its rather justified price tags. So that you shouldn't be surprised if you must pay about 16GB $449 for the 16GB ZEN in Singapore dollars, or even more $300 US.

The same accidental posting that got leaked on the web site may also say that a 16GB NAND flash memory may be closer to full-scale production than was originally expected. Until now, Creative is the first one to respect its promises towards the size boost. Both Samsung and Toshiba have promised the ultra-dense memory for use by the end of the year. But there is a long way before the actual products based on the technology will actually ship.
