Turns out that no sudden issues arose to delay the wonder drive. The Scorpion Deluxe has now gone up for order.
So none of you have to wait too long if you have the cash for this 1,920 GB SSD with 1,900 MB/s write and 2,150 MB/s read speed.
Of course, if you're strapped for cash you can buy one of the 960 GB, 480 GB, or 360 GB models instead.
They will still be expensive though. They are, after all, part of the same Scorpion Deluxe series as the star drive (not to be confused with the star drives that enable FTL travel in Sci-Fi).
