Multiplatform - 2007 THQ Nickelodeon 'Youngster' Lineup

Just as 6 new arcade titles have been announced to hit Microsoft's Xbox Live Arcade service, THQ comes today with an even bigger announcement of their 2007 Nickelodeon video game lineup. The list includes the debut of El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera and 5 more titles based on some of the top-rated kids TV shows such as SpongeBob SquarePants and Avatar: The Last Airbender.

And to top it all, all titles having a brief description below will be released on practically all consoles out there, including handhelds: Xbox 360, Wii, PS2, Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance.

THQ 2007 Nickelodeon lineup:

- Nicktoons 2007: fast-paced action platform game where young players must defeat Professor Calamitous' vast army of evil toys. It features the largest selection of playable Nickelodeon characters from the most popular TV shows including SpongeBob SquarePants, Danny Phantom and The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron and Boy Genius. Nicktoons 2007 will hit the PS2, Wii, Nintendo DS and GBA this fall, as they're still working on it.

- SpongeBob's Atlantis SquarePantis: following SpongeBob and the rest of the Bikini Gang as they leave Bikini Bottom, gamers start on a journey to the legendary city of Atlantis. The treasures of Atlantis will be waiting for them there, while experiencing new game mechanics and multiplayer features - PS2, Wii, Nintendo DS and GBA this fall.

- Avatar: The Last Airbender -- The Burning Earth: players will follow the second season storyline as Aang teams up with friends to defend the greatest Earth Kingdom city against a deadly Fire Nation threat - Xbox 360, PS2, Wii, Nintendo DS and GBA this fall.

- El Tigre: players will follow the adventures of Manny, the son of a superhero and the grandson of a supervillain, helping him as he must choose to use his El Tigre superpowers for good, or let his mischievous side take over – they're still working on this DS exclusive launching this fall.

- Zoey 101: Field Trip Fiasco: as Zoey Brooks, gamers embark on a field trip to Red Stone Gulch Canyons with Zoey's friends. With the aid of a park ranger, gamers will learn the techniques needed to survive the seemingly hostile wilderness terrain once they become separated from their guide. The game has already been made available for Game Boy Advance, as for the Nintendo DS version, it will launch this summer.

- Drake & Josh: Talent Showdown – in this adventure-style gameplay, players will try and help Drake and Josh win the infamous talent show (Teen American Talent) by avoiding sabotages from other contestants and by perfecting their music skills. It is available now for Game Boy Advance, while DS owners will only get a glimpse this summer.
