"Da Vinci Code" film producers have chosen the Lincoln Cathedral as a location for the shooting set to begin on June 30.
After books sales estimated to US$20 million, "Da Vinci Code" finds its way to the big screen on a multimillion-dollar production.
A deal said to be worth 100,000 allows the producers to use Lincoln building. This might bring a lot of tourists in the area, as the movie is expected to be a blockbuster.
Another famous location about to host the filming is the Louvre Museum in Paris, which is the scene of a murder in the novel.
Tom Hanks will impersonate Robert Langdon, the hero of Dan Brown's best-selling novel. Famous French actress Audrey Tautou (Amelie) alongside Sir Ian McKellen will also star in the movie.
