Two new Android tablets have been recently added to the multi-user support party. The claims were advanced by the SamMobile publication, which received some screenshots of a test firmware.

We're talking about the 8- and the 10.1-inch models of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 that haven't seen this functionality yet, even though they come shipping with pre-packed Android 4.2.2.

But now, by virtue of a new software update, the two slates will be able to handle multi-user feats, like parents controlling their kids' accounts.

At the moment, we're not sure whether or not the update will pack some extra goodies. We're not even sure when the update is going to be rolled out.

Anyway, the 8-inch Galaxy Tab 3 packs a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, a display with 1280 x 800 pixels density and 1.5 GB of RAM.

As for the larger Galaxy Tab 3, the slate comes sporting a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor plus 1 GB of RAM and 16 or 32GB of internal memory.
