At least for a 1 GB model (albeit a luxury item)

Let's take a small company, coming from the former Soviet Union, that wants to establish itself as a major manufacturer of luxury devices on the international market. What is the right approach to this rather difficult problem? Intelligent marketing strategies? Clever advertising? Well, it seems that the people over at Gresso, because they're the company in question, have chosen a much simpler (and popular) way of advertising their line of luxury USB flash drives, dubbed Adam&Eve: a partnership with a famous artist.

However, the artist of choice wasn't exactly the best possible pick, because Gresso has chosen Jennifer Lopez (of all people!) as a partner. Thus, the company has concluded the license agreement with Sony BMG Music Entertainment, allowing the distribution of Jennifer Lopez's new album "Brave" that will come packed with all the future "Adam&Eve" drives.

However, the licensing agreement extends beyond the delivery of digital content. Thus, the new drives from the music collection come in a special gift box and are also specially branded, since they "wear" J.Lo's signature, as well as the album's name and some Swarovski crystals.

However, that's about the only major difference between the special music edition and the normal edition. Thus, the new drives also include mahogany and African blackwood, gold and are also studded with white diamonds, explaining, to some degree, the seriously above average price tag. Unfortunately, the technical features of the new drives are also pretty unimpressive, as they're available solely in 1 GB versions.

Unlike the other devices coming from the same company, the special J.Lo-ed edition of the "Adam&Eve" drive is not necessarily very expensive, as it is rumored to sell for around 70 US dollars, a price tag that will probably drive away even the most hardcore fans Jennifer's got (although I seriously doubt there are any such persons out there).

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there. That's why we thought it would be a good idea to create an email address for you to help us a little in finding gadgets we missed. Interesting links are bound to be posted with recognition going mainly to those who submit. The address is .
