Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage Confirmed for Borderlands 2

The developers working at Gearbox confirm that the new piece of downloadable content for their first person shooter Borderlands 2 is called Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage.

The name Torque is used for one of the big weapon makers in the game world and the new content will probably see the player fight the leader of the company and assorted new enemy forces.

The official Twitter message that confirmed the new DLC reads: “ARE YOU A BADASS ENOUGH BADASS TO SURVIVE ‘MISTER TORGUE’S CAMPAIGN OF CARNAGE’? I’M LEGIT CURIOUS CAUSE I DUNNO YOU THAT WELL #BADASSITUDE”

Hints linked to Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage were found previously in a list of Trophies that was leaked on a game forum.

Gearbox says that it has plans to support Borderlands 2 with DLC for at least six more months.
