Mr. Driller Drill Spirits Unlockables (DS)

Mr. Driller Drill Spirits, or Mr. Driller 6 as it is also known, is a Nintendo DS game developed by Japanese gaming company Namco. This title is part of the Mr. Driller series of video games, of which Namco assumed full ownership. It was released in 2004 as a launch title for the Nintendo DS in Japan and in the United States of America.

Nevertheless, although the two versions might appear similar, the US one has had a few features cut from it, as opposed to the Japanese one, such as the Dristone game mode, or the Rabbit and Usagi characters. In an effort to please fans, these aspects were reimplemented in the European version of the game, which was released in 2005.

Mr. Driller Drill Spirits uses the two screens of the DS to the fullest, as the touchscreen can serve as an alternative control method, while both of them form an extended display surface for a better view of the environment around the characters. There are 7 playable persons, and only 6 in the US version, with the main one being Susumu Hori, the son of Taizo Hori. Other key characters include his older brother, Ataru, and the head of the driller council, Taizo.

Outer Space level
Unlock all Drillers by completing all levels in mission mode to unlock the Outer Space level.

Note: This is an endless level. In the European version of the game, successfully complete "The Moon" level in mission mode.

Endless Tokyo Dristone Driller level
Complete Dristone Driller to unlock Tokyo as an endless level.

South Pole level (European version)
Successfully complete all levels except Outer Space in mission mode.
