Mp3splt-gtk, an application that can be used to split Mp3 and Ogg files by selecting a begin and an end time position, is now at version 0.9.

Mp3splt-gtk is very useful if you want to split large Mp3/Ogg files in order to make smaller files, or to split entire albums to obtain original tracks.

Highlights of Mp3splt-gtk 0.9:

• Experimental FLAC support has been added;
• A bug that occurred when importing an exported cue file has been corrected;
• The progress bar for ogg vorbis is now showing properly when using the auto adjust option;
• The deprecated category 'Application' has been removed.

A complete list of changes can be found in the official announcement.

Download Mp3splt-gtk 0.9 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
