Mozilla Thunderbird 11 is exactly two weeks old and today it has received an update that fixes a very small batch of issues. It is nothing critical, as build 11.0.1 of the email client had been scheduled for release some time ago.

For those users experiencing IMAP hangs this revision takes care of the problem. The second notable issue the development team dealt with referred to renaming a folder that was used by filters.

Those expecting a new Beta build this week might have to keep waiting, because the work has been put into building the current release.

As a side note, Thunderbird 3.1.x will reach end of life (EOL) next month, on April 24. As such, users of the old version are advised to migrate to the new version in order to benefit from security fixes and improvements.
