Mozilla Corp. has announced that it has teamed up with Foxconn, a Taiwanese company, to create a product that runs the Firefox operating system.

The new product will be announced on June 3, said the Firefox developer.

Foxconn, the Taiwanese company, is one of the world’s largest contract manufacturers of consumer electronics, as Focus Taiwan reports.

According to the announcement, the two companies plan to introduce a new Firefox OS device on June 3. There are rumors that the product will actually be a tablet.

Mozilla has previously announced some new partnerships with telecom operators and manufacturers at the Mobile World Congress in February, including Deutsche Telekom, Sprint, SingTel, LG, and Huawei.

Foxconn has also worked with Apple and has grown by leaps and bounds thanks to this partnership, but it is now looking for new clients.
