Mozilla Hopes You'll Be Able to Find a Better Name than Personas for Firefox

A couple of years ago Firefox debuted Personas, a simpler way of customizing the look of your browser. Unlike traditional themes which required quite extensive knowledge, Personas were very easy to create.

This explains why there are thousands of them available in the online repository. But Mozilla feels that the name, Personas, doesn't really resonate with most people and this leads to confusion over their purpose and it may lead to some people simply not using them.

"We’d like to rename Personas to something more understandable and localizable. And we’d love your help," Mozilla explained. "We’ve come up with several options for a new name and want to know what you think."

So far, Mozilla has come up with Backgrounds, Wallpapers, Skins or Themes. You can vote on any of these sounds the best for you, or you can suggest your own name.
