Mozilla continues development of Firefox 31, so the company today rolled out the very first release candidates after weeks of beta testing supposed to squash bugs and let users try out the new feature lineup.

Mozilla Firefox 31 RC1 doesn't bring any new features over the previous betas, but it's instead supposed to be a lot more stable and reliable, so in case you wish to see what's new in Firefox 31, this is the version that you should actually give a try.

Just like it's the case with every single build of Firefox, 31 RC1 works on all typically supported desktop platforms, including Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X.

And if you're wondering, yes, the Australis interface is still there and will remain available for many versions from now, as Mozilla sees it as a major step towards a completely new approach that makes its browser more user-friendly and easier to access certain features.

Of course, everyone can give a shot to this new version of the browser, so go ahead and click the download links below to download the package that's working on your computer. Just remember that this isn't a stable build and some bugs could still exist.
