Mozilla continues work on the next version of Firefox, so today it rolled out a new beta build that allows users to try out the features of its next stable browser before the public launch.

Mozilla Firefox 31 Beta 2 is mostly supposed to fix bugs and address performance issues, so most of the changes are made under the hood. No visual improvements are available right now, but keep in mind that we're still talking about a beta build that's not supposed to be installed on production machines.

The official changelog reveals that Firefox 31 Beta 2 includes improvements aimed at background tabs, synchronization and some other features, so this is the version you should deploy especially if you've been experiencing bugs with the previous builds.

Of course, Firefox 31 Beta 2 still comes with the Australis UI, even though many users hoped to see Mozilla change its mind and switch to the classic interface. Mozilla says that Australis is here to stay, but it might still receive a number of improvements in the coming versions.

Overall, this is clearly an update that's worth a try for experienced users, so click the download links below to get the version that's working on your computer.
