Mozilla is very close to launching the new Firefox with Australis, but in the meantime, the company rolled out another preview version of the browser that comes to address a number of issues in the program.

Mozilla Firefox 29 RC1 is basically the first release candidate for Firefox with Australis, so it should be pretty much the same with the stable version that’s expected to be launched sometime next week.

Of course, the new version is available on all supported platforms, including Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X, so everyone could give it a try right now even though it’s not yet part of the stable channel.

Australis is one of the most important redesigns in the history of Firefox, as Mozilla’s flagship browser has until now provided almost the same interface, even though we’re very close to reaching version number 29.

More details will be provided next week when Mozilla will officially launch Firefox with Australis. Softpedia will also publish an in-depth review to present the new features available in this browser, so keep an eye on our Windows section to find out more about the new Firefox version.
