Mozilla has just released a brand new beta version of Firefox 29 that allows users to try out the new Australis interface before it hits the market later this month.

As you could easily figure out since it’s just a beta, the new version is specifically developed to resolve bugs and other issues found in the app, so everyone running a preview flavor of Firefox 29 should update as soon as possible.

The official release notes sent to us this morning are pointing to changes that should only excite geeks and more experienced users, as they mostly reveal technical improvements supposed to fix under the hood issues causing problems when browsing specific apps.

As far as Windows is concerned, the new Firefox beta also works on Windows XP, the operating system that was retired a few days ago, as Mozilla is one of the companies that are planning to continue supporting this particular platform for a few more years.

We’ve already tested Firefox 29 Beta 7 and it all runs very smoothly, so in case you’re planning to try out the Australis interface before it hits the market, check the download links below to get it right now.
