Canonical announced a few minutes ago, October 29, that they've updated the default web browser in all their supported Ubuntu operating systems to the brand new Mozilla Firefox 25.

Officially released by Mozilla today, October 29, the Mozilla Firefox 25 web browser introduces Web Audio support, the ability to migrate another browser's settings and history when away from Firefox for months, resetting the browser will no longer clear the browsing session, and the Find Bar is no longer shared between tabs.

Therefore, thanks to Canonical, Mozilla Firefox 25 is now available for all supported Ubuntu platforms, including Ubuntu 13.10 (Saucy Salamander), Ubuntu 13.04 (Raring Ringtail), Ubuntu 12.10 (Quantal Quetzal), and Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin).

All users are urged to upgrade to the new Mozilla Firefox 25 as soon as possible, using the built-in Update Manager tool. Other Linux users can download the Mozilla Firefox 25 binaries and sources right now from Softpedia.
