Mozilla has officially announced that the third release in the Firefox 19.x branch is now available for download.

The Pwn2Own that takes place at CanSecWest has already prompted Google and Mozilla to release small updates for their browsers. Firefox 19.0.2 was made available earlier today with just one fix and it's available on all the platforms.

“VUPEN Security, via TippingPoint's Zero Day Initiative, reported a use-after-free within the HTML editor when content script is run by the document.execCommand() function while internal editor operations are occurring. This could allow for arbitrary code execution,” states the Mozilla Foundation Security Advisory.

Mozilla Firefox 19.0.2 still has some problems, which were not fixed between versions, like a crash when trying to start the browser with a locked, or poor performance in GMail.

A detailed list of problems and other issues can be found in the announcement.
