Mozilla has officially announced that the second release in the Firefox 19.x branch is now available for download.

Unlike the first version in the 19.0 branch, the new Firefox 19.0.1 doesn't bring any changes for the Linux user. With the exception of a single fix for the Windows platform, the change in number is the only Linux relevant information.

The previous release, Firefox 19.0, arrived with a new built-in PDF viewer, startup improvements, and exciting new tools for developers.

Mozilla Firefox 19.0.1 still has some problems, which were not fixed between versions, like a crash when trying to start the browser with a locked, or poor performance in GMail.

A detailed list of problems and other issues can be found in the announcement.
