Available for several phone models

While different types of chargers for mobile phones are currently available, some companies are starting to be preoccupied with a mobile phone's battery as well.

Moxia, was up until now providing USBCELL, which is a rechargeable battery that you can plug into USB slots, and has now also come up with mobile phone batteries using the same technology.

The batteries come with a USB plug inside their body and can be plugged into an available power source, any device with USB slots including a PC, Xbox 360 or PS3.

Because of the fact that the plug is positioned at the bottom, the user won't even have to take the battery out in order to recharge it. The only thing a user has to do is take off the back and plug in the extendable USB plug.

Because of Moxia's new mobile phone batteries you'll never have to worry about forgetting the phone charger at home, or running out of power during the day, because there'll probably always be a USB slot around. Then again, where there's a computer, there's usually a plug. But at least you won't have to carry the charger around.

One thing that for the moment remains unknown is for which handsets it will be available. According to Moxia the USBCELL will be available for a range of major phones, Blackberry and portable devices, but we have yet to find out what the list of major mobile phones includes. But one might assume that the Sony Ericsson and Motorola RAZR handsets are supported since they are pictured with the new phone batteries.
