14 DAY TRIAL // A determined future groom has really worked for his marriage proposal, taking advantage of his girlfriend's love for the movies to capture her heart.
Featured in the clip above is the movie themed proposal of Joe Wakim, according to Mashable. Wakim got his inspiration for the stunt from Billy Crystal and Ellen.
“I was mainly inspired by Billy Crystal's Academy Awards opening and some videos that Ellen did compositing herself in Titanic,” he describes.
Creating the proposal trailer took two weeks in editing time alone. He also had to carefully watch the “Titanic,” “The Notebook,” and, believe it or not, “The Shining” to hunt for good moments to insert his image.
Wakim's girlfriend accepted the wedding proposal one day after she saw the video uploaded on YouTube.
“She said yes!” he has joyfully tweeted.
