Allowing every type of users to feel at home on their newly configured Mac

In announcing OS X Mountain Lion yesterday, Apple confirmed that the new OS would boast Twitter integration, just like iOS on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. What Apple didn’t say was that several other content-sharing sites would also have embedded support.

In addition to the already confirmed support for Chinese services, like the Baidu search in Safari, or sites like Youku and Tudou, Mountain Lion supports flickr (the photo sharing service) and Vimeo (the popular video-sharing site) out of the box.

As the screenshot above shows, Apple wants users to feel at home on their Mac, regardless of the social ties they prefer when setting up their Mountain Lion Mac for the first time.
