Mobile phone maker Motorola is hard at work with the release of a new series of Android-based devices, and leaked info on the matter appears to confirm at least three such smartphones.

A screenshot reportedly coming from Bug2Go, which is Motorola’s bug-reporting app, and which emerges courtesy of hellomotoHK, has unveiled the codenames of what appear to be three unannounced handsets from the company, including Xplus1, Titan, and VoLTE_VZW.

The first handset in the series is supposedly the long-rumored Moto X+1, which is expected to arrive on the market as the successor of Moto X, and which should include a nice range of enhancements when compared to last year’s smartphone.

For example, the phone appears confirmed to sport a full HD (1080p) touchscreen display, up from the 720p screen that Moto X was released with.

A screenshot taken on a 1080p smartphone has been posted on Google+ by Punit Soni, Motorola VP of Product Management, which suggests that the device might indeed be under testing at the company, and that an official unveiling could not be too far ahead.

The screenshot has been posted so as to confirm some new settings included in the latest Android 4.4.3 KitKat update for Motorola handsets, and it also suggests that the upcoming device could become available with this platform iteration loaded on top right from the start.

The aforementioned Motorola Titan, which has been spotted in Bug2Go, could arrive on the market as a mid-range phone, similar to Moto G and Moto E, slashgear notes. The phone is expected to hit shelves in Asia, EMEA, and Latin America.

As for the VoLTE_VZW codename, it supposedly hints at an upcoming VoLTE-enabled smartphone from Motorola that will be released in the United States on the network of Verizon Wireless. The carrier is already deploying VoLTE, the same as AT&T does.

What’s interesting to note is that said screenshots do not point at new smartphones alone but also suggest that Motorola is working on other type of devices, such as tablets and smartwatches.

The xWatch codename spotted there could be related to Moto 360, but there is also an “xClock” device mentioned there, which appears a bit odd.

For the time being, we’ll take the info above with a grain of salt, though there is a good chance that things will pan out in the end. Unfortunately, no info on when these products will go official has been provided, but keep an eye on this space for additional details on the matter.
