Mobile phone maker Motorola has been recently rumored to plan on launching on the market a series of new handsets powered by Google's Android operating system, and it seems that the pieces of the puzzle are finally coming together. Motorola Zeppelin, one of the phones rumored to be included in the company's plans, has just made an appearance in a series of photos, accompanied by some hardware specifications, and is reportedly headed for China.

The mobile phone, as many of you might already know, surfaced last week in a leaked screenshot with Motorola's Android roadmap, where it was seen along with the Sholes and Morrison, which are already known as Droid and Cliq, and two other devices, Sholes Tablet and Motus, which remain a mystery for the time being. However, Zeppelin has just been spotted in a series of photos on Digi.QQ.com, and the specs that are available for the device show that it is probably bound for China.

What the Zeppelin should sport when available on the market includes a 3.1-inch display with full touch capabilities and a 480 x 320 pixel resolution, a 5-megapixel photo snapper with flash, HDMI output, Wi-Fi connectivity, and dual SIM slots, one GSM and one R-UIM (CDMA). The one thing that is certain here is that the dual SIM slot is a first for Android, and it remains to be seen how the two will get along.

No other details on the device emerged so far, and no exact pieces of information on when the phone will come to the market are available either, yet the rumors suggest that we should expect it to be launched sometime in the first quarter of next year. In case Motorola intends to release it in other markets outside China, it might actually unveil another variant of the phone, yet that should happen after the original launch.
