Mobile phone maker Motorola is set to bring to the market sometime next year one of the first tablet PCs that would run under Google's upcoming Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system, and some new photos with the device have just made an appearance into the wild. This is not the first time when this tablet PC is spotted at large, since it was even seen in the hands of Google's Andy Rubin last week, though this appears to be the first time the device surfaces in some more detailed photos.

Seven pictures of this Motorola tablet PC emerged into the wild over the weekend, courtesy of Engadget, along with some more info on the device's specifications.

For example, the fact that it would include a 1 GHz Tegra 2 T20 application processor is almost certain, and the same applies to the 10-inch multitouch-capable display that can offer a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.

At the same time, rumor has it that the upcoming Android device would pack a gyroscope and 512 MB of RAM, along with a microSD memory card slot for additional storage space.

Moreover, the tablet PC is also expected to arrive on shelves with dual cameras, including a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and a 2MP camera on the front.

The rest of the hardware specifications for this device are still unknown, thought the usual ports should also be included into the mix (HDMI, microUSB, or headphone jack).

As stated above, this would be among the first tablet PCs that should arrive on shelves with Google's Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system on board.

What is still unknown on the matter is the name under which the slate would arrive on shelves. Previous rumors suggested names like Stingray, or Everest, and the name of “Trygon” also emerged.

It remains to be seen when exactly this Motorola tablet would arrive on shelves, though previous reports on it suggested that it might be launched sometime during the first half of the next year.
